DARIA PLEGGENKUHLE: No unfortunately I haven’t made it there yet… but I have aunts who live in Kingston.
DARIA PLEGGENKUHLE: I was scouted in an H&M store by one the bookers from my mother agency MD Management.
DARIA PLEGGENKUHLE: I get compared to Sasha Pivovarova a lot… I don’t really think I look like her but its nice compliment, because I love her very much.
DARIA PLEGGENKUHLE: I tried to do school and modeling at the same time. But if I do something I want to give 100% so I decided to take a break from school last summer. I am really glad my friends back home are so cool about me and modeling. They call me wherever I am and which is really good I remember some situations when I really needed them.
DARIA PLEGGENKUHLE: After work I often take a long bath and in the morning I need loud music to get power for work 🙂
DARIA PLEGGENKUHLE: Not really, I guess…but it’s so much easier to find them in NYC 🙂
PONY RYDER: Editorial bookers really love your look! Which editorial are you most proud of?
DARIA PLEGGENKUHLE: My first editorial for the Jalouse Magazine in February 2009
DARIA PLEGGENKUHLE: I just worked on St. Barth (which was beautiful!!!!!) and I had to get up at four in the morning because we’ve been shooting in the sunrise. That was a really early.

DARIA PLEGGENKUHLE: Armani

DARIA PLEGGENKUHLE: Yes, I was booked for the cover of Greek Vogue on a beautiful island but the photographer got sick (I hope he ´s better) so it got cancelled. I was so sad, because that would be a huge honor for me.
DARIA PLEGGENKUHLE: People often talk about my eyebrows, what I find really funny, but they love them… On my last job a girl told me I had beautiful shoulders That was a nice compliment because its so unusual….
DARIA PLEGGENKUHLE: Eva Padberg… I love her look and she seems really down to earth. I like that.
PONY RYDER: In Germany, there is a show run by H.Klum: Germany’s next top model. What do you think of that show?
DARIA PLEGGENKUHLE: To be honest- the show was made for entertainment- and that’s what it is. But they put the girls into a lot of situations I know too…
DARIA PLEGGENKUHLE: I like the Body Shop. Their products are really good and they don’t do any tests on animals.
PONY RYDER: Speaking of body, how do you stay in shape?
DARIA PLEGGENKUHLE: I do ballet…and castings 🙂
DARIA PLEGGENKUHLE: I don’t follow any diet but I try to eat very healthy.
PONY RYDER: But you still love chocolate, which one?
DARIA PLEGGENKUHLE: Lindt Chocolate
PONY RYDER: What do you eat for breakfast?
DARIA PLEGGENKUHLE: I like the normal Kellogg’s flakes with sugar.
PONY RYDER: And yoghurt?
DARIA PLEGGENKUHLE: I love Almighurt Lemon!!!

DARIA PLEGGENKUHLE: Banana milkshake!

DARIA PLEGGENKUHLE: I just wash my face with water and soap and sometimes I use the Bodyshop lotions.
PONY RYDER: Facial mask: yes/no?
DARIA PLEGGENKUHLE: I have one from a pharmacy in my hometown, I always buy it when I’m there I don’t know how it’s called though.
PONY RYDER: Do you have a home made beauty recipe?
DARIA PLEGGENKUHLE: A lot of sleep!!! And I think the best is not to worry too much about beauty because stress pimples and wrinkles…
PONY RYDER: Which products do you use for nourishing your hair?
DARIA PLEGGENKUHLE: I use Kerastase for my hair.
DARIA PLEGGENKUHLE: I don’t use any make up, since I do the modeling I’m happy if my skin gets some fresh air…
